History

Merrow Associates was established in the early 60’s by Richard Young who had a passion for Danish design, mixed with luxurious materials, fine finishes and a love of inspirational engineering.

Their highly sought after pieces retailed through Harrods, Heals, Oscar Wollens among others in the UK and other high-end showrooms in the USA, Germany, France and Benelux countries.

Their unique designs were showcased throughout the residential market, corporate offices and celebrity houses. A highlight included designing Ronnie Corbett’s famous chair!

The Next Chapter

After forty years James Young was finally able to pick up where his father had left off and re-launched Merrow Associates in 2020 with business partner and fellow designer Mike Trott.

The pair have recommissioned selected heritage pieces from the extensive back catalogue of vintage furniture along with developing ‘New Merrow’ items taking forward the Merrow Associates story onto the next exciting chapter.
